DSCS “Avurudu 2025” Celebrated at the University of Kelaniya

The Department of Statistics & Computer Science, together with the Statistics & Computer Science Students’ Association (SCSSA), successfully organized DSCS Avurudu 2025 on 29th April 2025 at the Cybe Ground, University of Kelaniya.

The event was held in celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, bringing together academic staff and students in a vibrant and culturally rich atmosphere. Traditional customs, games, and festive activities were conducted, providing participants with an opportunity to celebrate national heritage while strengthening unity and camaraderie within the department.

DSCS Avurudu 2025 served as a platform to foster student engagement, teamwork, and a sense of belonging beyond academic life. The active participation and enthusiasm of students contributed significantly to the success of the event.
