Fourth Session of the Capacity Building Program – School Project 2025 Successfully Conducted
The Department of Statistics & Computer Science, Faculty of Science, University of Kelaniya, successfully conducted the 4th session of the Capacity Building Program – School Project 2025 on 22nd August 2025 at B1-212, Faculty of Science.
The session was organized to guide school students in making informed decisions regarding Advanced Level subject selection and to provide insights into future university pathways. Through informative presentations and interactive discussions, participants were introduced to academic options, university admission requirements, and potential career pathways, enabling them to align their academic interests with long-term goals.
The program was conducted in collaboration with DegreePlus and the Statistics & Computer Science Students’ Association (SCSSA). Academic staff and student volunteers contributed actively to the success of the session by engaging with students and addressing their questions on higher education opportunities and subject combinations.
The successful completion of this session reflects the Department of Statistics & Computer Science’s ongoing commitment to educational outreach and capacity building.
